Terms of use

1. Purpose

These terms govern your use of the game Crossbow Kingdom, published by Mathéo Jorigné. By playing, you accept them. If you don't agree, don't use the game.

2. Age

The game is intended for people aged 13 and over. Minors need the agreement of a parent or guardian, especially for any purchase.

3. Access to the game

The game is free, played online and requires a compatible device and an internet connection, at your own expense. An anonymous account is created automatically. A save can only be active on one device. A transfer replaces the save on the destination device.

4. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the game for private, non-commercial purposes. The game and its characters, visuals, sounds and text remain our property or that of their owners.

5. Virtual content

Coins, upgrades, outfits and shots are in-game content. They have no monetary value, can't be traded or sold, and can't be refunded in money unless the law says otherwise. Outfits and shots are purely cosmetic. Game balance may change.

6. Nickname and conduct

Your nickname is public and can't be changed once confirmed. It must not be abusive, hateful or misleading, or infringe the rights of others. Cheating, modifying the game or its communication with the server, automation, exploiting bugs and any attack on the service are prohibited. We may remove a nickname, correct progress obtained fraudulently or suspend an account, in a proportionate way.

7. Ads and purchase

This section applies once ads and the purchase are enabled in the game.

The game shows ads, some of which are optional and offer a reward. The "No Ads" purchase removes automatic ads. It is sold and billed by Apple or Google under their terms, including restoration and refunds. Under Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, you agree that digital content is supplied immediately and waive your right of withdrawal at purchase, where the store collects this.

8. Availability and updates

We do our best to keep the service running but don't guarantee permanent availability. The game may be interrupted for maintenance, changed or discontinued, with reasonable prior notice where possible. Some updates may be required to keep playing.

9. Liability

The game is provided as is. We aren't liable for indirect damage or for failures caused by your device, your network or Apple's and Google's services. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law guarantees to consumers.

10. Duration and deletion

You can stop playing at any time and delete your data. Deletion permanently erases your progress, including content you obtained.

12. Apple

If you downloaded the game from the App Store, these terms are between you and the publisher, not Apple, which isn't responsible for the game or its support. Apple and its subsidiaries may nevertheless rely on these terms as third-party beneficiaries. You must follow the App Store's usage rules.

13. Changes

We may change these terms. Any significant change will be announced in advance. If you refuse it, you can stop playing and delete your data.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, please write to support@crossbowkingdom.com first. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections of your country of residence.
